Our mission is to preserve Martin Park as a pristine natural area and to safeguard its purpose as a Nature Center from harmful development. Friends can contribute by assisting the Directors/Naturalists with educational programs, enhancing natural habitats, maintaining the park, and raising public awareness through educational events and outreach initiatives.
Friends act as a platform for engaged citizens, like you, to support the enhancement and utilization of the Park. We offer financial backing for nature programs, initiatives to support local flora and fauna, and special public events. While we appreciate financial contributions, recruiting new Friends is essential to our mission, as we believe that having more Friends is always beneficial.
Meetings
We hold meetings every two months in the Park's library on the second Sunday of every odd month at 4:00 pm. These meetings are open to everyone, and all are welcome to join.
Throughout the year, we organize special events for our members, which will be announced as they are scheduled.
